Early Bird Special - postmarked by May 12, 2010.
Early bird - postmarked by May 12, 2010 if entering online, payment must be postmarked no later than May 12, 2010 and mailed within 24 hours of entering the show via the online flyer. Entries postmarked after that date will be subject to the regular entry fees.
Regular - received by June 4, 2010. All entries must be received by June 4, 2010, no exceptions. Last day for substitutions and corrections is June 4, 2010. There will not be a late page for this show.
Saturday check in: 7:30 - 8:30 a.m., judging starts at 9 a.m.
Advertised show hours on Saturday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Sunday, Sunday only entries can check-in at 8:30 a.m., judging starts at 9 a.m.

No exhibitors may enter the show hall before the posted opening hours.
Cats not present by the start of judging will be marked absent.
All cats must be present during advertised show hours unless granted special permission to leave by the show manager. Failure to obtain show manager permission to leave could result in the loss of a final should your cat's number be posted for the final after you have left the show hall. back to top
Per TICA rules, only 1 cat or 2 kittens will be permitted in a single cage and 2 cats or 4 kittens in a double cage. A single cage is 21" tall X 21" deep X 21" wide. A double cage is 21" tall X 21" deep X 45" wide. Each entry is entitled to a single cage. If you want a double cage for a single entry, you must request and pay for an additional 1/2 cage - see the Summary Sheet. If you enter 2 cats you will get 2 single cages which can be converted to a double cage. The club does have individual wire single cages.
The top, sides, back and floor of the cage must be covered. Please bring your own cage covers or other materials such as towels, sheets, etc., to cover the cage.
You may use your personal cage providing it will fit the space allotted. If you are using a single personal cage, it can be no wider than 21" nor deeper than 21". If you are using a double personal cage, it can be no deeper than 21" and no wider than 45". If your personal cage is wider than the dimensions allowed, you must purchase either an additional 1/2 cage for a single size personal cage or a groom space for a double size personal cage. If your personal cage is deeper than 21", it can not be used as it will not fit in the benching space. See the Summary sheet to order an additional 1/2 cage or a groom space. back to top
Grooming spaces are the size of a double cage space - 21" deep by 45" wide. Due to space limitations, no grooming carts will be allowed in the aisles. See the Summary Sheet to order a groom space. back to top
Exhibition/Sale cages are available to two day exhibitors only and limited 1 per exhibitor. These are double cages. All exhibition/sale entries must be listed in the show catalog. Please complete an entry form for each cat or kitten that will be on exhibition or for sale. Per TICA rules, no cat or kitten will be allowed in the benching area unless it is listed in the show catalog. There will absolutely be no sales allowed from carriers. In order to be allowed in the show hall for this show, kittens must be 3 calendar months of age. For this show, kittens must have been born on or before March 12, 2010. Please be prepared to show a copy of the TICA litter registration as proof of age. These rules will be strictly enforced. back to top
This is a non-vetted show. Every cat that enters the show hall must conform to normally accepted health requirements and be current on vaccinations. Front and back claws must be clipped. Declawed cats can be shown. Cats with suspected contagious or infectious illness, or with parasites will be removed from the show hall. Cats from households where there has been contagious or infectious illness within the last 21 days are ineligible for entry in this show. Cats entering Canada must have proof of current rabies vaccination. back to top
Household pets over 8 months of age must be altered (spayed or neutered) in order to be shown. Household pets between 4 months and 8 months of age are shown in the Household Pet Kitten class and need not be altered to be shown. Household pets do not need to be registered in order to be shown in their first show. When entering a Household Pet, be sure to indicate the cat's color and pattern on the entry form. back to top
Cat litter will be provided. Please bring your own cat food, cat dishes, and litter pans. People food will be available at the concession in the show hall. back to top
One show catalog is included free with your first entry. Additional catalogs are $5.00 each and must be order on the Summary Sheet. Catalogs will not be for sale in the show hall. Marked catalogs are available in electronic format only [PDF file] for $5 each and must be ordered and paid for in advance - see Summary Sheet. back to top

All entries must be accompanied by a check or money order payable to Commencement Cat Club. Please do not send cash through the mail. All entries must be paid in US funds. Payment for email, fax, or internet entries must be mailed with 24 hours. Entry fees are payable even if the cat is not benched. All fees not paid within 10 days of the close of the show, will be subject to disciplinary action per TICA rules. To receive Early Bird discounts, payment must accompany entry or in the case of email, fax or internet entries, must be postmarked within 24 hours of entry or before EB closing which ever is earlier. Returned checks are assessed a $25 fee for each time returned plus any bank charges incurred by Commencement. All fees for returned checks along with the original fee amount must be paid prior to benching.
Fees are due at the time of entry and are non-refundable per TICA Show Rules 24.3.
Entry fees paid at the door will be assessed a $25 fee unless prior arrangements have been made and acknowledged by the entry clerk.
There is no additional charge for email, online or fax entries. Telephone entries will be assessed a $10 per entry surcharge.
Substitutions will be assessed a $10 per entry per substitution time surcharge. No substitutions will be taken after the published closing date. back to top
Any cats competing in ANB or PNB must be TICA registered. See Standing Rule 203.1.1. If you are showing in the ANB or PNB class, your entry will not be accepted without a TICA registration number. back to top
The club is pleased to support the Junior Exhibitor program. The program is open to all exhibitors under 18 years of age participating in the show. The ring will be judged on Saturday during the lunch break. The club is offering a discounted fee to all Junior Exhibitors who enter the show and participate in the ring. The fee is $60.00 if paid by May 12, 2010, $70.00 after May 12, 2010 for a 2 day entry plus participation in the JE Ring or $35.00 for Saturday only entry and participation in the JE ring. The entry fee includes a single cage, entry to the show and to the Junior Exhibitor ring. To receive this special discounted fee, the Junior Exhibitor must be registered in TICA's Junior Exhibitor program. The fee does not include the registration fee for the program. In order to receive these discounted fees, the cat must be present in the Junior Exhibitor ring or regular fees will apply. See Summary Sheet to enter the Junior Exhibitor Ring. back to top
With the exception of entires in the ANB, PNB and NT classes, kittens, cats, alters, and household pets do not need to be registered to be in their first show. They do however need to be registered for their 2nd show and to claim titles and regional or international awards. This does not apply to cats competing in the ANB or PNB class - any cats competing in ANB or PNB must be TICA registered. See Standing Rule 203.1.1. If you are showing in the ANB or PNB class, your entry will not be accepted without a TICA registration number.
All kittens entered into competition must be 4 calendar months of age (not 16 weeks). To be eligible to be shown on Saturday, kittens must have been born on or before February 12, 2010 and for Sunday, on or before February 13, 2010. This also applies to Household Pet kittens.
Cats co-owned but living in different households are eligible for multi-cat discounts providing a copy of the TICA registration showing both owners accompanies the entry. If you enter via the online flyer, either fax or mail a copy of the TICA registration to the entry clerk. Do not mail your original TICA registration form to the entry clerk. back to top
